Activity: QuickQuiz

1. Olfactory defensiveness occurs when an individual perceives certain smells as aversive or noxious.


2. When working with a student who has olfactory defensiveness, it is important to wear a lot of perfume.


3. Behaviors exhibited by individuals with visual defensiveness include:

visually fixating on certain objects.
avoiding going outside on sunny days.
refusing to eat foods with a certain texture.
all of the above.
4. When an individual refuses to eat foods that are a certain texture he or she might have:

visual defensiveness.
oral defensiveness.
