Medication and Your Students

Paraprofessionals may be working with students who are taking medication for their difficulties. This activity asks students to do research on the medications that their students may be using. The research questions can also be a good basis for discussion.

Discussion Ideas

The following articles may provide a good starting point for discussions within your learning group.

The facilitator can ask their paraprofessional students about their experiences with students who take medication. Are there issues that arise with this medication? What are they? Etc.
