IntroductionThe environment in which your students grow up has a profound influence on how they perform. How teachers, family, and community respond to a student's disability will affect both the opportunities that are offered to the student and the way the student perceives their disability. These environmental factors can work in favor of student improvement or against student improvement. In this unit we will explore some of the environmental factors that influence students and some things that we can do to improve the educational environment in which a student learns.
