Individualized Plan for Employment (IPE)

The Individualized Plan for Employment (IPE) was formerly known as the Individualized Written Rehabilitation Program (IWRP).

When a person is determined to be eligible for vocational rehabilitation services from the Division of Rehabilitation Services, a counselor assists the individual in identifying vocational goals. Those goals are developed in the Individualized Plan for Employment (IPE). The vocational rehabilitation counselor will work on this plan with the individual, the case manager, and other people that can offer support in this process. The objectives and services in the plan are designed to overcome challenges, which were identified in the diagnostic study, that are keeping the person from employment.

See http://www.mnwfc.org/rehab/rehab.htm for more information on this type of plan.
